OK, so I didn’t break anything…Quint did!!!!
I know I promised to update you all last Friday, but unforeseen technical problems (like no slot for my smart card) hindered me. after much whining on my part, my husband FINALLY gave me HIS disk reader. WOO-HOOO!!! No more cell phone pictures!!!!!
Well, this AM I got an email from my aunt, who was apparently WAITING VERY PATIENTLY for Quint’s TaeKwonDo pictures. Let me just tell you, I have a strong little boy! He broke 5 boards in his class on Thursday night! I was holding the planks, and Graham was taking the pictures. Unfortunately he got no “action” shots. Darn and drat…but here we are with the Supreme Grand Master, and one of our other instructors to our right.
Towards the end of class, Quint ran up to Grand Master with his boards, and said, “Grand Master!!!! I broke all my boards!” Grand Master was very impressed, and even signed the top board so Quint could keep it forever as his very first board ever broken.
I am sooooo proud!!!!
Oh…let’s see…Soccer. I am a dork: soccer doesn’t start until next week. Yet another week I have to wait. But that is OK…I still need to get Quint’s shin guards. Thankfully no cleats though. they are “not encouraged” for this age group. HAHAHA! But still–I can not wait until this Saturday!!!! My brother-in-law, Mark, has even told us that he is going to forgo his football watching schedule just to watch Quint play his very first game. LOL. We sure are lucky that soccer time falls between college broadcasts! Hehehehehe!

Tonight is going to be a bit hectic. At TaeKwon Do, Quint will attempt to break 5 boards for the very first time, then we are going for a quick meal, and I am going to the YMCA for my 2nd Zumba class with my sister-in-law.
I WILL take pics of Mr. Quint breaking boards tonight at taekwondo and hopefully post them tomorrow AM.

Well, today was Quint’s preschool orientation day. He starts his real schedule (M-W-F, 9-12) this Friday. Take a peek at what I dressed him in….hehehe.
Seriously…is that a great outfit or what???? SOOOOOOOO fitting, and both his teachers agreed! UGH!
Speaking of school, I went to my Zumba class last night. What a workout! We danced like maniacs for like a full hour. Latin beat, very loud, and a lot of us running in circles trying to catch up. It was the first class taught in the area, and (I think) the first class taught by this girl. She really didn’t talk at all–just told us to follow what she was doing. Oh, and she told us that the guy who sang this one song was “so hot!!!!” Very odd…and fun? I could see that if/when we finally figure out what we are suppossed to be doing, we might get it. I think it would help if I knew what the words to the songs were too. My high school Spanish is REALLY rusty. I did catch “mi corazon” a lot–which I am fairly certain is “my heart.” I guess I am going to go try it again on Thursday, with the other instructor. Hopefully she will let us know what to do, and HOW to do it!

Hello again…after yet another week of not blogging. I hope you all had a great Labor Day weekend! And I hope that all your kiddos got off to school again!
We have Taekwondo tonight, and soccer starts this weekend. I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!
Tomorrow, Quint has an orientation at his preschool, and he starts back again officially on Friday! We have some homework already that we need to work on-a hand colored picture of himself and I need to take a photograph of the three of us for the classroom family tree. Hopefully it will be good so I can show you all tomorrow.
Speaking of looking good…I have been on weight watchers now for 6 weeks. And I have lost…16.8 pounds!!!!! WOOOO-HOOOO!!!!! Tonight I am going to take a class called Zumba at the YMCA with my sister-in-law. I told her I would go, but if she laughed at me, I was going to laugh at her. I *think* this class is a fusion of tribal dance, kickboxing and Pilates? Who knows. I just know I have to go…LOL.

Yes, Quint’s cheesy IKEA bed is now up on stilts, Pooh Bear and Elmo is sitting in his secret room (the closet) where his bookshelf is now housed. And yes, that IS a slide you see. The ladder we originally had was a little too steep for Quint to safely climb up and down at night, and he BEGGED us for a slide. My husband (and I) are way too easy to pushover.

I am so excited I can hardly stand it!!!!! When Quint went to Tae Kwon Do on Thursday, he invited a friend. This friend lives in the “big city” as opposed to our “country county.” Well, Spotsylvania does not have pee-wee soccer, but Fredericksburg does!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I tried to get Quint into the Spotsy league over the summer, but he was too young. Not so in Fred! So, starting in September, every Saturday we will be playing Soccer!
And you KNOW that I volunteered to help, right? As long as I don’t have to coach…LOL
